We offer a 14-day money-back guaranteeon Pro subscriptions and Lifetime purchases made directly through pdfbook.app (via Stripe). If you're not happy with PDFBook, contact us within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. No questions asked.
How to request a refund
Email us at support@pdfbook.app with:
- The email address used at checkout
- Your order number or last 4 digits of the card
- (Optional) a sentence on why (it helps us improve)
We process refunds within 5 business days. Funds typically reach your statement within 5–10 days after that, depending on your card issuer.
Subscription cancellations
You can cancel your Pro subscription at any time from the Manage page by entering your license key to open the Stripe billing portal. Cancellation stops the next billing cycle; you keep access until the end of the current period. No partial refunds are issued for unused subscription time outside the 14-day window.
Lifetime license revocation
Refunded Lifetime licenses are revoked; a license you keep is never disabled. A device already activated with a refunded key fails its next license check (up to 14 days later, due to the offline grace window) and reverts to the Free tier.
Booth.pm / Gumroad purchases
Lifetime licenses purchased on Booth.pm or Gumroad are governed by the refund policy of those marketplaces, not by this policy. Please contact the marketplace where you purchased.
Exceptions
Refunds may be denied in cases of:
- Requests made more than 14 days after purchase.
- Evidence of abuse (e.g., repeated purchase-and-refund cycles).
- License keys that have been shared publicly or resold.
